Fülöp Gábor’s incredible ladybird sculpture features over two thousand handmade ladybirds, crafted from resin. Gábor’s work frequently uses the human form to explore our relationship with the world around us, particularly the interaction between species that allows life to flourish. Gábor states that surface, where inner meets outer and the tensions between the two, is immensely important in his work. The artist reinterprets traditional sculptural technique to bring together traditional and contemporary, bringing his work an interesting feeling of being outside of time.
