Cayetano Ferrer created an amazing series of semi-translucent street signs by photographing the scene behind the sign, printing it on an ink jet printer and pasting them over the signs. His work reveals those obscured corners of the constructed, contemporary environment we live in. There’s a dialogue between the seen and the hidden, and actual environment and the memory of it, as progress continues and more and more of our everyday landscapes are altered.
