Instrumental to Alastair Levy’s work is a sense of playfulness which helps him convert every day objects (in this case, a police stop and search record) into other things. Levy uses thoroughly mundane materials, such as Post-it notes or polystyrene cups, emphasising the possibilities of the overlooked object.
