I’d like to welcome in the new year with an image by John Stark called In Times of Exactness and Uncertainty. I don’t feature painters much, so I’m sure you’ll forgive me if I don’t know exactly what to say, but I feel this image is a little appropriate for the beginning of 2012, a year where we live in an unstable financial market, the political face of the world is changing and, I’m sure, no one knows what is going to happen next. Happy new year, one and all, and I’ll be back with some more astute and less delirious commentary soon (when my hangover has gone away).
