Steven Gontarski’s Prophet series are marked by their romantic forms, body language reminiscent of Renaissance sculpture. The fluid forms made from reflective, shiny materials, often fiber glass, reflect back the viewer’s gaze to themselves, distorted. There’s something bizarrely erotic about them - for instance, the finger pointing suggestively towards where the mouth should be (but isn’t). Click through on the image for a link to his website
